Anna Maria Gambino 12/05/1997

Italian historical flute player based in Basel, she is currently completing a Master’s degree in traverso with Marc Hantaï at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (CH) and holds a bachelor’s from the Koninklijk Conservatorium of The Hague (NL), with musicology studies at Università di Roma Sapienza (IT).
She has collaborated with leading ensembles specializing in period instruments, including Les Talents Lyriques, Il Pomo d’Oro, Divino Sospiro, and the Orchestra of the 18th Century, performing at major venues such as Theater an der Wien, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Opéra de Lausanne, Teatro alla Scala, Arsenal de Metz, TivoliVredenburg, and Amare. She has recorded for Aparté and Glossa, with performances across Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, The Netherlands, and Poland. In 2026 she was awarded the ESKAS – Swiss Government Excellence Art Scholarship.

 

Francesco Elgorni 28/03/2001

Francesco Elgorni began piano at age five and later expanded his studies to organ and harpsichord. He is now enrolled at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (CH) under the guidance of Francesco Corti (harpsichord) and Tobias Lindner (organ). He earned a Master’s in harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (2025) and a Bachelor’s cum laude in piano at the Conservatory of Milan (IT, 2022). He studied with Carole Cerasi, Patrick Ayrton, Francesco Corti, Adrian van der Spoel, Richard Egarr among others.
