Francesco Elgorni (2001) studies Historical Keyboards at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland) under the guidance of Francesco Corti and Tobias Lindner (harpsichord and organ). He holds a Master’s degree in harpsichord from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and studied with Carole Cerasi, Patrick Ayrton, Adrian van der Spoel, Richard Egarr, and Anna Fontana, among others.

Raised in a science-oriented environment, he soon developed a strong fascination for counterpoint and all the technical processes behind music-making.

Francesco Elgorni (2001) è studente presso la Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Svizzera) in Historische Tasteninstrumente sotto la guida di Francesco Corti e Tobias Lindner (clavicembalo e organo). Ha conseguito un Master in clavicembalo presso il Conservatorio dell’Aia (Olanda) e studiato, tra gli altri, con Carole Cerasi, Patrick Ayrton, Adrian van der Spoel, Richard Egarr e Anna Fontana.

Cresciuto in un ambiente orientato alle discipline scientifiche, ha sviluppato fin da giovane una particolare fascinazione per il contrappunto e i vari processi tecnici alla base della pratica musicale.

Francesco Elgorni (2001) studiert Historische Tasteninstrumente an der Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (CH) bei Francesco Corti und Tobias Lindner (Cembalo und Orgel). Er verfügt über einen Masterabschluss im Fach Cembalo des Königlichen Konservatoriums Den Haag und studierte unter anderem bei Carole Cerasi, Patrick Ayrton, Adrian van der Spoel, Richard Egarr und Anna Fontana.

Aufgewachsen in einem naturwissenschaftlich geprägten Umfeld, entwickelte er schon früh eine besondere Faszination für den Kontrapunkt sowie für die technischen und strukturellen Prozesse des Musizierens.
